Responsibilities
Tor Lønnum is responsible for Statkraft’s financial operations, including finance, accounting, financial management, investments, and capital management. He plays a central role in the company’s continued growth and value creation and will help ensure financial stability and strategic development in line with Statkraft’s goals.
Relevant experience
Lønnum has more than 25 years of leadership experience from large Nordic and international companies, with a particular focus on finance and businesses in regulated and capital-intensive sectors. He joined Statkraft from Kverva, where he served as CFO from 2022 and later as CEO from 2023. Previously, he was CFO and a member of the executive management team at Falck AS in Copenhagen (2017–2022), CFO at Tryg AS and Tryg Forsikring AS (2011–2016), and CFO and Deputy CEO at Gjensidige Forsikring (2003–2011). He has also held the role of CFO at Aimia, a global loyalty programs company based in Canada (2016–2017).
