Silva Green Fuel
Silva Green Fuel was formed in 2015 to develop and produce advanced biofuel to replace fossil fuels.
Silva Green Fuel finalized the construction of a demonstration plant to test groundbreaking production technology at the Statkraft Tofte site in 2022. The plant is built within the old storage building at the industrial site at Tofte.
After a two-year validation period, the long-term goal is to benefit from the biomass value chain and build and operate a commercial biofuel facility. A possible investment decision is planned for 2025 and will form the centre of the future Tofte industry cluster.
